The July 4, 2009 Boggin kicked of to a great crowd, despite the fact it was held on the 4th of July Holiday.
In spite the date and the fact that the event started an hour earlier, there were many trucks on hand and plenty of spectators to be thrilled by their attempts to beat the treacherous mud.

I took an immediate liking to this truck, probably because of the flag in the bed. I later found that the driver was a U.S. Marine who had just returned from Afghanistan To relax, after the stress of combat he bought a truck and entered his first Mud Boggin'. Elko Boggin is proud to be able to assist this soldier in his endeavor to relax after a tour defending this Country. |
