Angel City

April 21, 2007

I took my first trip to Angel City, this weekend and it was a Blast.

Located just west of Unadilla, Georgia, Angel City is a haven for bikers during their quarterly events.

Featuring local acts and some of the top bands in the country, they provide great entertainment of both types, Rock and Country.

Now, This is the way to Ride!

Though I forgot to bring my camera, I was fortunate the Mike Brannan of MooseRiders1688 was present with his.  Unfortunately he only had his smaller, cheaper one so some of the pictures aren't as good as they should have been, but these are enough to give you an idea of the Angel City Spring Rally.  Also present from the Mooseriders was Charlie Merservey and his wife, Connie.

From the other Motorcycle group I am a member of, only myself and Dave Wilson were there to represent the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Mechanized Cavalry.

I had to have a couple of Me and my Bike.

All in all, it was a day long party with many great vendors and affordable drink prices.

Though bands had been playing all day, early evening signaled the start of the featured entertainment, starting with the WET T-SHIRT CONTEST

Following that was the featured bands, "The Pat Travers Band" and, at long last, "Confederate Railroad.

By the time Confederate Railroad finished it was getting late and was time for the long ride back to Kathleen.

All in all it was a great, fun-filled Day.
